چکیده
For the treatment of menopausal symptoms, nutraceuticals and herbal remedies are thought to be more natural safer than hormones. Attention has been paid winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.)) DC. seed oil. They constituted phytosterols, which may effective in preventing symptoms. The purpose was determine optimal conditions for supercritical fluid extraction oleic-rich oil from seeds. To optimize condition, response surface methodology (RSM) probabilistic neural network (PNN) were utilized. In this research, PNN used improve RSM estimation by reducing number calculations. optimized entailed a CO2 flow rate 21.3 L/h, pressure 30 MPa, temperature 55 °C, an time 90 min. Under these conditions, process yielded maximum yield 36.27%. Ultimately, included greater proportion unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid, linoleic acid produced using cold pressing or co-solvent extraction.

Response surface methodology for optimization of supercritical fluid extraction of orange peel essential oil
Background: Orange peel essential oils were obtained using supercritical fluid extraction. This method is an important high scaling extraction methods that used for extraction of plant and animal extracts. Methodology: The experimental parameters of SFE such as temperature, pressure, and extraction time and modifier volume were optimized using a central composite design after a 24-1fractional ...
متن کاملDetermination of extraction conditions of Ginkgo biloba L. leaves by supercritical CO2 using response surface methodology
The effects of process parameters on the extraction of Ginkgo biloba L. leaves with supercritical carbon dioxide were investigated. The investigated parameters include particle size (mean particle diameter 0.19, 0.467 and 1.009 mm), solvent flow rate (1.58×10, 3.22×10 and 4.16×10 kg CO2/min) and pressure (100–300 bar), which were obtained by the response surface methodology (RSM) under the foll...
متن کاملGas chromatography-mass spectrometric determination of fatty acids in seed oil of winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC).
Fatty acids of winged bean seed oil were examined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry of their pyrrolidide derivatives. Oleic and linoleic acids were determined to be the major unsaturated fatty acids in the oil. Long chain saturated fatty acids, such as behenic and lignoceric acids, were found in relatively high amounts as compared with other edible seed oils. The fatty acids that could no...

ultrasound-assisted extraction was used to determine the optimum processing conditions and to achieve the maximum extraction yield and viscosity of the gum extracted from quince seed. using response surface methodology (rsm) to design the experiments and adopting the central composite rotatable design (ccrd), the effect of extraction temperature (25-55°c), time (3-10 minutes), and ph (6-8) were...
متن کاملCrystallization and preliminary crystallographic data of the major albumin from Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC.
The major seed albumin from Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC, winged bean albumin 1, has been crystallized from ethanol as rhombic needles in a form suitable for high resolution x-ray crystallographic studies. The space group is I4(1)22 with cell parameters a = b = 95.6 A, and c = 86.0 A. Amino acid sequence homology between winged bean albumin 1 and legume 7 S globulins suggests that the fo...
